Desription ......... The Ibizan Hound was bred in Ancient Egypt, a fact that is known because depictions of him can be found on frescos in pyramids. The modern branch of this breed, however, comes from Malta. Their coloration is beautiful - deep yellowish-red, with a minimal amount of white on the breast and limbs. The Ibizan Hound’s maximum height is 22.5 inches. This slender and agile dog is an extremely clean pet. His short smooth coat is easy to take care of, but it doesn’t protect him from cold. Typical features of the Ibizan breed are a fondness for exercise, liveliness, and a higher level of obedience compared to other hounds.
