Desription
......... The Cairn Terrier is an attractive dog with a fascinating character that descends from the Highlands of Scotland. It is one of the smallest dogs of this breed (his height is up to 12.5 inches), but he has a big heart. His coat is wiry and water repellent, which even after a thorough combing appears disheveled. The color ranges from roan (a mix of black and white hair) to red or gray to almost black. His upright ears crown his small, prominent head and give him the look of a dog that is constantly on his guard, which he is. He scours about far and wide, trying to surprise some small rodent, and can do it for hours. He has a shrill, expressive voice. He is very friendly, and is always happy to accompany his owners during a walk in the country or shopping. The Cairn Terrier lives a long life and isn’t fastidious about food. Devilish rashness and great love for people combine paradoxically in him.
