:  1968

Desription .........  The Irish Terrier is a stately dog, with a height reaching up to 19 inches. He is covered with wiry coat of yellow-red color, and more rarely of pale shades of yellow. The Irish Terrier has long legs. He doesn’t eat much and likes physical activity; but in the presence of other dogs you must exercise strict control over him. The Irish Terrier makes a wonderful pet and is good for people of all ages. He has a straighter coat than the Airedale Terrier’s, and it takes less effort to make him look well. It is enough to go to a professional groomer until the owner learns the art of grooming his dog himself.
