The height of these dogs is about 10 inches at the withers. The coat is wiry, straight, and coarser on the neck and shoulders. The color of the Norfolk Terrier and Norwich Terrier is red, golden, black and chestnut against dark-brown. The coat looks warm and bristly. It isn’t difficult to keep this dog groomed, and even after a long walk in the country or a hunt involving digging up holes, it is easy to make his coat look clean. These breeds are shown separately at dog shows, despite the fact that they have practically no differences except for the posture of the ears. When it comes to cutting the tail short, the breeders tend to leave it how nature created it.
