Desription ......... The American Cocker Spaniel descended from English Cocker Spaniel. The name itself reflects its national origin. As a result of a long selection process, the American Cocker received the following features: he differs from the English Cocker Spaniel by the shape of the head, has a shorter and more rounded muzzle, and round eyes that look directly forward. Other noticeable difference include his coat, which is longer and denser on the legs and the belly. If you don’t trim him, it won’t do any harm, especially to a working dog; but a pet needs regular trimming, and a potential buyer should consider this fact. The American Cocker Spaniel can have several varieties of color: black, black with fawn, dark-yellow or three-colored.

This dog has a cheerful personality. American Cockers don’t need a lot of food and they like exercise.
