Desription .........  The English Cocker Spaniel is a very active dog that is constantly looking for something in the grass and bushes. The purpose of this breed is to flush out game for capture. The color of the English Cocker Spaniel may be various: red (golden) and black, white and black, and also multicolored.

The English Cockers love to carry various objects in their teeth – either on command or on his own. A typical picture of this dog may show him standing in front of an angry owner, with a slipper in his mouth, wagging his tail ingratiatingly.

A Fast Learner : As a teacher, I want my students to learn fast and understand my lessons at the shortest possible time. This is exactly how I want even my pets to be, so I chose a English cocker spaniel for myself. It does not exhaust much of my effort teaching because in a very short time, he is able to grasp what I teach him. He is very much like me.He is also very sociable and easy to get along with. Other dogs are aloof to strangers, but my cocker is the opposite, he would move around the house with my guests as if they have been together for a long time. Sometimes, my guests would spend most of their time playing with him than talking to me, but I don't mind. I am even very happy about it because I don't have to worry about how to entertain my guests.
He enjoys morning exercises and a bubbly fellow when I go jogging. There is even very little worry about his place to stay because a small environment would be enough for him. Although I was cautioned by my friends that this type of breed is susceptible to ear infection and ticks. So what I do is make a regular check of his ers and I also make sure he does not stay on the ground for a long time to avoid ticks. But I would not trade my English cocker spaniel for an breed, it's perfect for me.
