Desription ......... The Field Spaniel can easily be mistaken for an English Spaniel, from whom he differs by his longer back. His height is 18.5 inches, the coat color may be black, liver or roan (a blend of black and white hairs), but liver is the most widely spread color. The coat is long, shiny and demands constant attention, especially around the ears. The Field Spaniel looks noble and, as registered in the standard, has a sad face. He is active and obedient – in short, he is a wonderful friend and worker. He prefers to live in the country, and doesn’t need a great amount of food. It’s no wonder that the popularity of this breed continues to increase.
