Desription ......... As a variety of the English Bulldog, the French Bulldog has a very similar square-shaped head with a longer muzzle. Big ears that stand upright above the cheekbones are trademark features of the French Bulldog’s very distinctive head. The French Bulldog’s big dark eyes usually radiate expression and look friendly, though sometimes a glimmer of apparent evil appears in those eyes, warning you that perhaps you had better not get too cozy with members of this breed. The French Bulldog’s weight can reach 27 pounds, with coats ranging from tiger, spotted and bronze. The French Bulldog’s coat is short, dense and shiny, and his constitution solid. With a slightly arched back (in the hip area) and corkscrew tail like his English brother, the French Bulldog is gifted with a unique appearance among dogs.
