......... The Irish Setter is very beautiful, but to maintain this beauty, one needs to groom his long, thin coat frequently. He can grow up to 26 inches, but by official standards he should be smaller. Small white markings on the breast are allowed, but nowhere else. The Irish Setter isn’t too stocky, but his muscular system is very strong. The bitch may give birth to many puppies in one litter, sometimes up to sixteen.
