Desription ......... The Bearded Collie, also known as the Highland Collie, has eyes so charming that it is said that dogs of this breed can melt even the coldest of hearts. This popular dog stands about 12.5 inches, and moves with athletic grace. The Bearded Collie is covered with long wiry hair on the body and limbs, while the dog’s undercoat is soft but dense. Bearded Collies can be either gray, black, blue of sand in color, with white markings on the chest, head and legs. The dog’s distinctive beard gave this wonderful dog his its name.
