Desription .........  The Lhasa Apso breed hails from Tibet, where he was used as a guard dog, a job they fulfill handily, due to their clever nature and resounding voice. The Lhasa Apso is able to withstand the harshly cold Tibetan climate, thanks to a coat of long, wiry hair.

The Lhasa Apso stands an average of 10 inches. The long locks of hair on the Llama Apso’s head give the dog a strong resemblance to some of the smaller terriers. In addition to withstanding cold weather, Lhasa Apsos enjoy long walks. These dogs have an independent nature and aren’t particularly friendly to strangers, though they are devoted and loving pets.

Leaving food for the whole day : I have a neighbor who owns a Lhasa Apso and she just leaves all the food on the ground so that her dog can eat in case it gets hungry. She does this because she has a double job and she is rarely home. Now, my question is it alright if I do the same? I will be very busy with the upcoming days because we will be finishing a multi-million project. Should I just do this instead of hiring a dog nanny to feed him for the entire day? Please help me as I am really confused and is it healthy to do so?
